Dr. Jorge Monroy performs select minor surgical procedures as part of our comprehensive primary care services — with the same attention to detail, sterile technique, and patient comfort you expect from every AMG visit.
Our in-office procedures are designed to treat common conditions quickly and effectively, with clear aftercare instructions and follow-up support to ensure proper healing. Most patients are in and out in a single visit.
All procedures are performed in English or Spanish.
Lesion Removal
Evaluation and removal of skin lesions including cysts, skin tags, lipomas, and suspicious growths. Pathology referral arranged if needed for further evaluation.
Sutures & Wound Closure
Care for cuts and lacerations requiring stitches — including proper wound cleaning, closure with sutures, and post-procedure wound care instructions to prevent infection and support healing.
Burn Management
Assessment and treatment of minor burns, including wound care, infection prevention, pain management, and healing support. Referral provided if burns require higher-level care.
Abscess & Infection Treatment
Drainage and treatment of abscesses, infected wounds, and localized skin infections — with appropriate medical management and follow-up care.
